The annual Perseid meteor shower that gives us a beautiful showing of dazzling meteors each year, is at its peak Wednesday evening.

The best time to see the shower was just before dawn today, but don’t get your panties all in a wad cause you can watch them perfectly late tonight and into the early hours of Thursday.

The Perseid shower happens every summer around this time when the Earth’s orbit hits the path of debris coming off of Comet Swift-Tuttle.
