Gospel singer Bebe Winans was charged with domestic assault in Nashville after having a physical assault with his ex-wife Debra.

The 46-year-old singer were fighting at her home March 13 when Winas pushed his ex-wife to the ground.

Benjamin “BeBe” Winans was released Thursday from Davidson County jail after posting $1,000 bond.

In a statement to the press, Winas said “the allegations are inconsistent with my character.”
