12th South’s Mirror Restaurant Being Bought

After rumors about 12th South’s Mirror restaurant possibly closing, I thought I’d better get to the bottom of the rumormill since I have a very soft spot for their goat cheese fried green tomatoes.
Speaking with Mirror’s current management, I have learned that the Nashville restaurant is indeed closing, though the date has not been set. Mirror is being purchased by a restaurant-minded buyer and although Mirror will be no more once the sale goes through, the business will remain a restaurant.
Well, there goes the best source for cucumber martinis and polenta fries. And it even looks like they have taken down their eatdrinkreflect website. Dammit, Nashville, there goes another good one.
If you haven’t made it to Mirror or you need to say goodbye to the kitchen, you’d better get on that. If it’s good enough for sometime resident Robert Plant, it’s good enough for you.
